QUESTIONNAIRE:
In the next few days I
shall be contacting members to see if they can help with a
questionnaire regarding the Exhibition Boards. Dates have not been
set mainly because of the unsettled weather. I shall be in touch.
OTHER NEWS:
I have informed the
committee that, after much thought, I have decided to stand down as
your Chairwoman. If you wish I shall remain in post until our AGM
early next year.My reasons for this decision are twofold. First, on
a personal level, I must put my health and that of my family first –
we really have not been in the best of health recently.Secondly, I
feel that having been in the post for two years it is
P.T.O.
time for the Society to
have a change. There is always a need for a fresh approach and fresh
ideas which someone else can bring to the post.
It has been a great
privilege to be your Chairwoman and I thank you for your support and
putting your faith in me. I think in the relatively short time that
the Society has existed we have made remarkably good progress.
I shall, of course,
remain a member of the Society.
